Kelly + Dan!

After 4 years together, Dan finally proposed to Kelly on December 20th, 2012! Ever since they met, Kelly has wanted to go on a horse and carriage ride. Every time they’d seen it in a movie or while in the city, she’d always tell Dan how much she wants to do it! Well, Dan finally gave in and took Kelly into the city on a Thursday afternoon for their horse and carriage ride around Independence National Park – and as they were crossing over Walnut St… Dan turned to Kelly, got on one knee in the carriage (impressive!) and asked her to marry him!! Of course she said Yes!! So what better place to take their engagement photos than where it all happened!! We absolutely adore these two and cant wait to capture their wedding next February!! Jessica from Your Day Your Way is no exception! After meeting her back in early 2011, things just clicked with us and its been an absolute pleasure getting to know her over the past few years! When I find out that a bride is using her for their hair and make-up I do a little giddy dance because I know that although my brides are all already gorgeous, Jess is going to go out of her way to make sure each of them are flawless! Her talent is pure artistry and perfection!

So, needless to say, when Jessica wanted to do a Trash the Dress down in Cape May, I jumped at the chance to capture her and her hubby Eric! We started our time together at the always beautiful Congress Hall, the shops down Washington Street and then eventually made it to the beach where their little fur-babies Chico and Chanel made a little cameo! They are the cutest little chihuahuas! And although a bit chilly… I was able to get these two lovebirds in the ocean! And it was so totally worth it! Check it out!

After Kellianne and Michael’s transportation inspired engagement session in Hoboken, we were so excited to capture their transportation themed wedding! From their adorable invitations to their beautiful escort cards and display to getting photos taken at the oldest train station in New Jersey – their day was full of love and travel! After the ceremony with the crazy threat of rain, we headed to the Long-a-Coming Station in Berlin – the oldest train station in New Jersey! Thankfully the rain held out and we were able to get some awesome photos for these two lovebirds!!

Since we were taking photos on active train tracks, we got lucky and a train come by for a photo!! A little NJ Transit cameo in their wedding photos just like their engagement photos!

Their escort card display was absolutely perfect! Loved the continuation of the travel theme!

Kellianne’s dad is part of a Pipe Band and they were soooo awesome to play for a little bit at her reception!!!

They even had a Cigar Bar for their guests!!

2 Years!

I can’t believe its been 2 years already… 2 years of living a fairy tale… 2 years of being married to my very best friend… 2 years of continuing to live and pursue our dreams together… 2 years with so many ups and downs but the strength and love to get through it all… 2 years that I wouldn’t change for anything!!

I cant wait until these 2 years become 12…22…32… and many many more! I cant wait to continue to travel the world with you, to start a family with you and make all of our dreams come true!

Ryan, you are my prince charming, my best friend and my very own happily ever after! And as I vowed… I will love you Always and Forever!

Amy + Aka!

Amy and Aka chose Camp Ockanickon in Medford, New Jersey as the setting for the day that they said their I Do’s. We were so lucky to have such an absolutely perfect day – perfect weather, perfect scenery, perfect couple for their outdoor ceremony and reception! I loved capturing all of the details throughout the day that Amy (with help from either her mom, family and/or friends) created to make the day extra special! I am totally in love with their do it yourself wedding that was completely THEM! I hope you enjoy the sneak peek from their day!! xo

There was a spot downstairs in her parents house of all the details from Amy’s parents wedding – I had to incorporate that into her photos!!

Talk about DIY specialists! Amy and her mom created all the personalized hangers!!

Cant forget about the guys! They all worn some yellow and gray Chucks!! Love!

Have I told you lately how much I LOVE First Looks?! Amy and Akas was so sweet! They were so excited to see one another!! (I may have even seen a few tears!)

There was never a lack of gorgeous scenery to shoot them around! Cant wait to use this campground again in the future!

One of their sons and niece walking down the aisle… Another DIY – that absolutely GORGEOUS flower girl dress/tutu!! Amy and her mom made it!!

Amy wiping away a tear…Then she had to share the tissue with Aka! So sweet! Although they had the first look, we still got a precious reaction when Amy walked down the aisle as well!! Swoon!!

They shared their last hug and kiss as a single person with their mothers Woo hoo! Congrats Mr + Mrs Landschoot!!

The Happy Family!! <3 Gosh, I love Knox’s mohawk!!!!

Their outdoor reception was outside of the Ockanick-Inn, overlooking the lake!! So awesome!

Campground BBQ for Dinner provided by Michael’s Event Catering!!

Their first dance in the auditorium area with all of their family and friends looking on!!

Their band, The Rockets, absolutely rocked the night away!! Highly recommended!!

Amy even got up and sang a couple songs!!

And so did her mom and dad!! LOVE!

Congratulations Amy + Aka!! We had a fabulous time capturing such a unique and memorable day for the both of you! You are so perfect together! We are so happy for you both and your adorable little family!! Hoping you have a wonderful time on your honeymoon!! xo

Allie + Kevin!

A few years later, on February 12th, 2012, Kevin proposed to Allie!! Here is the proposal in her words:

“We were planning to celebrate Valentine’s day a couple days early and Kevin told me he wanted to go to Houlihan’s because he had a coupon. It’s where we had our first date but he hoped to throw off any suspicions I might have had of a proposal by adding in the coupon part and it worked!

However, leading up to the day he decided he’d rather propose before the restaurant so during the day we had brunch near the beach where he asked me to officially be his girlfriend. After brunch, he gave me a valentines day present to open. The box was much bigger than a ring box and heavy! We walked by the beach and I opened it to find a glass jar full of m&m’s – some said “A&K Forever”, some had hearts on them and some said “MARRY ME” – of course I noticed the marry me ones last! I proceeded to freak out, saying “what? what?” “WHAT?!” and finally I looked up to see Kevin on one knee and he asked “will you marry me?” Apparently I said yes, although I was too in shock to remember!

We proceeded to spend the rest of the day sharing the news with our family and friends. Oh, and we did make it to dinner at Houlihan’s (and yes, we used the coupon he had lol!) “

So, needless to say, it was the perfect idea to head back to the place where it all happened! We had such a fun time with these two at Pier Village in Long Branch! We even stopped at Stewarts for an ice cream sundae! Enjoy the sneak peek! xo

Allie and Kevin had such an ease about them, they just fit together, and gosh, the laughter – contagious!

Nicole + Clint!

Nicole and Clint both moved to DC – Clint first for school/work and then Nicole followed five and a half years ago! Last April, after many tries, Clint finally got Nicole to take a walk with him around the Netherlands Carillon (although she admitted all she wanted to do was go to the mall!)… The Netherlands Carillon has a beautiful park with beautiful flowers and a breathtaking view of Washington DC! It was there that Clint proposed to Nicole! Of course she said Yes! Needless to say, this was the absolute perfect spot for their engagement photos!Crazy awesome view!

These two were super adorable together!

We then took the Metro into DC with our awesome tour guides and new friends!

Lindsay + Chris!

Lindsay and Chris got engaged on September 29th, 2012 – which also happens to be her birthday! Chris had an artist draw characatures of them to make up for some terrible ones they had done in Florida. Little did Lindsay know, the artist was in on the whole thing and had drawn Chris proposing in the picture!! How stinkin’ cute/romantic/memorable!!!

Lindsay + Chris are uber adorable together! The way she laughs and the way he smiles at her is just so precious! We are so thankful we were able to capture these two together this past weekend in Ocean City! Enjoy the sneak peek!

You might remember these two from their fun engagement on Andrew’s parents farm last year! We had such a great time getting to know these two and we were looking forward to this day for what seems like ages! We had a beautiful spring day full of lots of love and laughter! Courtney and Andrew said their I do’s at West Park United Methodist Church, and then we had a fabulous time with everyone at Luciens Manor that night!! I hope everyone enjoys the sneak peek! xo
