About Us

Sometimes clients ask me how I got into photography… and my answer is that I’ve always loved photography.  I can’t remember a time that I didn’t have a camera with me, taking as many pictures as possible.  So, really, I’ve always been into photography.  However, wedding photography happened because of my love of LOVE… and of other people’s love!  In May of 2008, I was a part of my childhood best friend’s wedding!  Throughout that day, I realized how much I loved LOVE and how perfect my life would be if I could experience this all the time!  Enter my lifelong love for photography (as well as my fiancé –now husband! – Ryan’s love of me, confidence in me, and a little bit of pushing me) and a few short months later Tami Melissa Photography became a reality!!  The best part about it, is that my husband Ryan’s love of photography has made him my second shooter, my business manager, and my sanity (at times!)…and we’ve been living the dream ever since!!

I believe that LOVE should never be boring – and neither should your photography!  I want you to look back on your images, and remember your day like it was yesterday!  Laugh, cry, and look back on all the moments that made your day so memorable!  I believe that weddings are fun! and fabulous! – so that is what your photo’s should look and feel like!! My goal is to not only provide amazing images but a really wonderful friendship and a great experience!
